Caroline Critique

Overview
This movie was one of the strangest movies I have watched.  The intended plot was obviously, "Be happy with what you have."  But this movie looked more like, "Don't do drugs" as the events in this movie seemed to be relatively close to what people describes feeling when on acid.

Plot
It was about a girl named Caroline, who had parents who just moved into a boring home and her whole life was boring.  She than found a secret door and urged her mom to let her see whats behind the door.  SPOILERS START AFTER THIS POINT
She than finds a hidden tunnel behind this door that once she entered it and reached the end of it.  It was connected to a mirror of her home.  And everything was just perfect in her eyes, the garden looked amazing, the parents did everything as she wished.  The only thing was her "Other mother" and "Other father" had buttons in place of their eyes.  She contuned to visit every night, but than one night while at dinner with her other mother they insisted that if she wanted to stay all she had to do is let them sow buttons in place of her eyes.  This than escalated into her having to run away from her mother and escalated and contuned until her other mother turned out to be a really creepy robot.
Music
The music  was decent, it matched the mood of the scenes.  But not something that is worth seeing the movie over it.
Strong/weak points
The movie was mostly weak to me, the entire thing seemed to be written to someone that was hopped up on something.  It had quite a few points where I had to go "What the heck is going on."  The only strong point is that I found the animation technique to be quite unique.  It had a claymation feel to it, which was interesting to watch.  But that also means that its frame rate made it a pain to watch for over an hour.

Car Project

The Viper

Here is the final product of a week in Photoshop.  Its body is Herbie from the movie, and the exhaust pipe is 2 SSMEs from the shuttle Atlantis.  The wheels were grabbed from a 747, and the fin at the back is from a NASCAR.  And the windshield is from Cars, and it is Lightning McQueen.

Click here for all of the pictures that both gave me ideas/inspiration and that were used in the creation of this.

One problem I could have is that the response time could be very poor, like that of a TV.  The fix for that could be to get a better monitor/not use a TV for a monitor.

Magizine

Here is what the final product turned out as, I decided on Stephen Colbert as he is probably the only "celebrity" I care about watching.  And I felt the headlines do his show justice.

This is my sketch, I based it off of the first sketch (one closest to this text) I ended up making it look more like one of the original batman/robin comic books with their big yellow and red speech bubbles.
Here is the render of the first 3D action I was provided.

And here is the render with the 2nd action.

And finally click Here to go to the images I both used on this project and based it off.

Comic Strip

This is a tale of a little Donkey named Eddie who just couldn't take the pains of being in Earth's massive gravity field.  He decided with his friend Pete The Penguin to travel where no donkey had ever been before.

Eddie

Eddie the Donkey was a very special Donkey.  He lived out most of his life in his old owner's plane old shed, in a plane old field.  He long thought he was doomed to spend the rest of his days on this here field.
But one day, Wernher vonn Braun offered him the offer that no other Donkey had gotten.  The chance to live out the rest of his days on The Moon!  He arrived at his final place to call home with Apollo 16.

Initals project attempt

Does not look as good as I hoped it would.

But in doing this I learned a lot of new features and some of the basics of PhotoShop CS6
